This is the transcript of a two-day intensive retreat Mark Griffin gave on December 31, 2013.

"I think it's always so interesting that in moments like this, time acts exactly like a river. It does so, spontaneously; it is connected to the interaction of consciousness and the mind. On this side of the river it is 2013, and on the other side of the river it is 2014. The celebration of the new year acts as a bridge. If portents and signs are to be believed, they tell us that 2014 and 2015 will be a time of focused change – what they call "interesting times". We will see."
